I had setup a on-premise cert trust environment on windows 2022.

After PIN setup is done, system prompt up an error when doing MFA.

Error detail:

Activity ID: 0230eaeb-0856-4b51-b075-8c8e0c414a4b

The requested authentication method 'ngcmfa' is not valid for relying party trust 'Device Registration Service'.

I had tried on windows 10. Could anyone help check this issue?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

The error message indicates authentication method 'ngcmfa' for the relying party trust 'Device Registration Service' during MFA.

Please kindly check if there's any misconfiguration regarding relying party trust settings.

1.Open the Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) Management Console.

2.Navigate to the "Relying Party Trusts" node.

Find and select the relying party trust named 'Device Registration Service'.

3.Check the configuration settings and see if there's any misconfiguration.

Hope this answer can help you well.

    Best Regards,
    Shujun
