We have a new Windows 2022 Datacentre Server. 1 NIC Team was set up with 4 Nics, We enabled HyperV manager on it. Creating a virtual switch in HyperV, get warning saying LBFO is deprecated and to use SET.

So I intend to delete the NIC team and set up via the new SET method. What is the best practice for removing the NIC team? If I just delete it, will the static IP address assigned to it be on of the NICs?

Kind regards

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

You can first remove Bindings from Hyper-V switch then you can Remove NIC members from NIC teaming then you can Remove NIC team Interface.
