Error code -1073741819 when executing a file in cmd/vscode

Question

I just installed MSYS2 to compile cpp file on my laptop. But when I tried the basic HelloWorld code both Windows Terminal and terminal in VS Code showed no result. However on Azure Cloud Shell, the same codes run smoothly.

I typed in

echo %ERRORLEVEL%

to see what's wrong, Windows Terminal returned -1054759839.
Is there any set-up mistake?

Your issue is related to Windows Terminal or Visual Studio Code. Please report it in dedicated Windows Terminal and Visual Studio Code forum.
