Domain users cannot log on to domain computer

Question

On PC1 I cannot log on as domain user (e.g. DU1). I can, however, log on as domain administrator.

Here is the detail:

PC1:

Local administrator logon: successful

Local user LU1 creation and logon: successful

Domain administrator logon: successful

Domain user DU1 logon: failed, "We can't sign in to your account. This problem can usually be fixed by..."

PC2:

All logons successful

I compared PC1 and PC2 in the Active Directory (Server 2016) for domain computer settings irregularities. Nothing can be found.

Simplest and quickest solution is to clean install it. These one-offs are never worth spending any time on.
