While running the VS Installer I am getting Dialog window "Sorry, something went wrong". After clicking on OK the installer hanging and I must to kill it via Task Manager. Same behavior is for BuildTools 2017, 2019, 2022 and all other components. installcleanup.exe -f didnt help. Building offline installer and start something like vs_setup.exe --nocache --wait --noUpdateInstaller --noWeb --allWorkloads --includeRecommended --quiet --norestart didnt help.

The output from collect.exe attached: dd_installer_20230626140513.log

Could you help me to resolve the issue? Many thanks in advance!

    Hi @Dmitry Tikhonov

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Please try to manually delete the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer.

Then, check for Windows Update and restart your computer.

After that, re-download the bootstrapper file from the following Microsoft Site and run it as administrator.

    https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/

    Sincerely,

    Anna
