Display resolution 2560x1080 not available for hub adapter

I have a 29" monitor with 2560x1080 resolution, it works fine when directly connected to my Dell laptop but I can't set any resolution bigger than 1920x1080 when I use a Knup Type-C Hub KP-AD117. This hub provides an HDMI with 3 USB ports, I use it to quickly switch all my devices (mouse+keyboard+monitor) between work/personal laptops with a single USB-C cable. I don't have this issue with other operating systems, for example, my Macbook automatically sets the resolution to 2560x1080 when I plug the same hub, so I don't think it's a hardware compatibility problem. Windows 11 and all my drivers are up to date, I tried to switch USB ports and cables, but nothing fixed it.

    There's no driver for this adapter, it's as simple as it gets, and other operational systems can easily detect the correct resolution by plugging it in only. I tried the advanced display settings. I even tried to set the list of modes in the advanced display settings but 2560x1080 is just not available:
