Dear Support,

Could you please assist me in troubleshooting the Universal Print issue?

I have configured the printer "Color LaserJet Pro MFP M183fw" using the "Universal Print Connector" and successfully registered it in Azure.

Here is the current status:

  • Under Azure -> Universal Print, I can see that the printer is successfully registered.
  • In the Overview section, the printer status is displayed as "Ready," and it is set to accept jobs ("Yes").
  • I have installed this printer locally on a Microsoft Windows 10 Business system (version 10.0.19045, Microsoft 365 Business premium licence and Hybrid Azure AD joined device) using a USB cable.
  • The printer is connected to the internet and has been assigned an IP address.

However, when I attempted a test print, it showed as successful in Azure -> Universal Print ->

It seems that the printer name was changed after we registered the printer in Azure Universal Print. We deleted the printer from Azure and reconfigured it from scratch without altering any details, and it worked as expected.
