OpenAI Add Data asking to enable public network access when trying to connect to Cognitive Search

Hi,

I've followed this documentation on creating a secure private network to run Cognitive Search on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/search/service-create-private-endpoint, then added in a private endpoint to my OpenAI resource. The Cognitive Search and querying a data source within the VNet all works. However, when I try to Add Data via the OpenAI studio it tells me to enable public network access and will not connect to Cognitive Search.

How can I over come this please? I need it to be on a VNet with private endpoints and not public access.

Thanks.

    @Casey

    Thanks for reaching here! When trying to Add Data via the OpenAI studio it asks to enable public network access and you can't connect to Cognitive Search because currently private endpoints are not supported.

    This is currently in development.

    As its mentioned in the document here- https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/openai/concepts/use-your-data#virtual-network-support--private-link-support

    Please let us know if further query.
