Database alternatives and size limitations for PostgreSQL

Azure community,

Why is there a size limitations for PostgreSQL database? When I tried to create a flexible PostgreSQL instance, I could allocate max 32TB of size. As far as limitations from PostgreSQL is concerned, 32TB is limit for a single table not for whole database, then why has Azure placed such limitation?

Do azure has any alternative database technology/solution where a single node can have more than 32TB size? we are looking towards 100TB per node. I understand there is Hyperscale, but that still would have a single node max limitation.

we are currently using Snowflake, but our case is uniq where we simply has too much data to retain but we do not need to do any data science on that, simple CR(no U/Update) operations on recent data while old data ( D/Delete) needed to retain for some period.

Thank you.
