I am the sole user of my PC and do not want to sign in every time I want to use it. Window 11 does not work to remove the sign in option as Windows 10 did. Please explain directions on how to remove sign in on Windows 11. Thank you

    Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, click on “Change” for the “Password” settings, leave the fields blank, and click on “Next.” This only works for local accounts.

    =======================

    If you have a Microsoft account, In Start Search type netplwiz and hit the Enter key, select the account, and clear the “User must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option.Click the OK button.Again, click the OK button.

    Hello! I'd be happy to help you with that. Here are the steps to disable sign-in on Windows 11:

    1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type "netplwiz" (without quotes) and press Enter.
    3. In the User Accounts window that appears, uncheck the box next to "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."
    4. Click Apply.
    5. In the Automatically sign in window that appears, enter your username and password.
    6. Click OK.

    After completing these steps, your PC will no longer require you to sign in every time you use it. Please note that this will also remove the password requirement, so anyone who has access to your PC will be able to use it without entering a password.

    Best Regards,

    First of all, you should be using Windows Hello and sign in with a PIN or biometrics. A PIN in far more secure than a password. This month, February, Win11 is going to have single sign-in but that's, almost another/different discussion. For the moment to answer your query... > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options

    Set what is shown below to Never

    Cheers,
