VS2022 does not stop at break point

I have a very simple code with a break point. Running Visual Studio 2022, the break point does not hit, although the code executes correctly. Please advice.

If you add a call to System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Break to the line of code where you’re trying to set the breakpoint, then rebuild, run the project, will VS debugger break there?

Could you please share us the simple code snippets to test and reproduce this issue?
