You can enable share snapshots, across your Share.
If you are using Azure File Sync, then you can use Previous Versions.

SMB versions: Which versions of SMB are allowed. Supported protocol versions are SMB 3.1.1, SMB 3.0, and SMB 2.1. By default, all SMB versions are allowed, although SMB 2.1 is disallowed if "require secure transfer" is enabled, because SMB 2.1 does not support encryption in transit. Learn more here
Versioning for Azure Storage : Azure Storage supports multiple versions. To make a request against the storage services, you must specify the version that you want to use for that operation, unless the request is anonymous.

The exact requirement from the end user:
So one of the staff members here just wants the ability to revert a file to one of its previous saves in the case where they accidentally saved a bunch of mistakes to a file I.E. They edited a file based on the wrong information and noticed later on, they would like to be able to undo the edits.
