hi, im a pc gamer and i've just realised that popping up event viewer it turns out there's been 68 critical errors on my PC both of which kernel power 41 under task category 63. This error only occurs when I start up the pc and I've only just realised that today when I posted this. I understand that the error occurs when the pc hasn't been shut off properly. It's been doing it consecutively ever since I believe the 14th of april this year. Any fixes, if so please let me know it'd be greatly appreciated.

Screenshot is a photo of the event viewer displaying these errors.

My PC specs:

CPU: Intel core i9 11th gen
Graphics card: RTX 3060
Windows 10 home 22h2

    Hello,

Thank you for your question and for reaching out with your question today.

The Kernel Power Event ID 41 error is a critical error that usually indicates an unexpected shutdown or loss of power to your computer. It can occur due to various reasons, including hardware issues, driver conflicts, overheating, or power supply problems. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Update your drivers: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your hardware components, including your graphics card, chipset, and network adapter. Visit the manufacturers' websites or use driver update software to download and install the latest drivers.
    2. Check for hardware issues: Run hardware diagnostics to check for any potential issues with your hardware components. You can use built-in diagnostic tools or third-party software to perform tests on your CPU, RAM, and hard drive. Pay attention to any error messages or failed tests, as they can help identify the problematic hardware.
    3. Monitor system temperatures: Overheating can cause unexpected shutdowns and kernel power errors. Monitor your system temperatures using software like HWMonitor or Open Hardware Monitor and ensure that your CPU and GPU temperatures are within acceptable ranges. Clean any dust from your system's cooling fans and ensure proper airflow.
    4. Check power supply: Verify that your power supply unit (PSU) is functioning correctly and providing sufficient power to your system. A faulty or insufficient PSU can cause power-related issues. Consider testing your system with a different power supply if possible.
    5. Disable overclocking: If you have overclocked any components, such as your CPU or GPU, revert them to their default settings. Overclocking can sometimes lead to system instability and unexpected shutdowns.
    6. Perform a clean boot: Temporarily disable non-essential startup programs and services using the Windows System Configuration tool (msconfig). This helps identify if any third-party software or services are causing conflicts that result in the kernel power error.
    7. Check Windows updates: Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Microsoft often releases updates to address system stability issues and bug fixes that could potentially resolve the kernel power error.
