Windows 10 Client PC force login testing of specific Windows 2019 domain controller
Dear sir,

Customer has a Windows 2012 environment upgrade AD to Windows 2019. He is using a new Windows 2019 Server (Server1) join to Windows 2012 AD domain. Then perform DC promotion upgrade active directory.

After added Windows 2019 Server1 as a AD server, he wants to have UAT login, policy and drive testing to force authentication from Windows 10 testing PC to only Server1 (Windows 2019 DC) instead of random authentication from Windows 2012 old DC.

Is it possible to do it?

Please suggest.

    Something here could help.

There are better ways to verify. Using dcdiag, repadmin tools and confirming event logs are free of errors.

Simplest solution may be to just turn off the old domain controller for testing.
