Migrate CosmosDB to different subscription

Hi - I would like to migrate an existing cosmos DB to another cosmosdb instance that is under a differnt subscription.

I couldn't find any resources explaining subscription migration.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

The answer of using the extension data migration tool for Azure Data Studio does not work. The extension does not support as input Cosmos for MongoDB (at least the vCore version that is the one I am using). At the very begging is impossible to pass the Assessment. Getting the following error:

Prerequisite Validation failed because the provided endpoint is of Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB account. Cannot run assessment on Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB account.

If we look at the resources here: Options to migrate your on-premises or cloud data to Azure Cosmos DB

I can see this scenario:

Move data from one Azure Cosmos DB account to another Azure Cosmos DB account (could be in the same region or a different region, same subscription or a different one).

Theres a range of tools to try: Intra-account container copy jobs in Azure Cosmos DB (preview) & Migrate data to Azure Cosmos DB using the desktop data migration tool.

I suggest you test this tools on a test CosmosDB instances.
