Download Visual Studio Community

I tried to download Visual Studio Community from Microsoft Store, however, when installing, it gets to be Visual Studio Professional. could you PLS help me with getting the Community version?

I am a personal user, is there any constrain for using the Visual Studio Community license?

    Hello @george tang,

    as you can see here, The community edition is on par with the professional edition.

    Visual Studio Community 2022: Free, fully-featured IDE for students, open-source and individual developers

    The main difference is that for developing commercial applications and services, the professional edition must be used.

    I'm not sure why you see the professional version pops up, but essentially, you are on par with the community edition.

    Which is ok because you are not an Enterprise organization.
