Hi,

I am faced with these issue whereby when my co-workers attempted to open excel in the editing in app function but was prompted to login to my microsoft account.

However, it seems like only logging into the system administrator account then only my co-workers are allowed to log into the editing in app (See screenshot). When we attempt to sign into our microsoft account, we failed to be able to login to work on the excel file.

The platform we are currently using is Sharepoint online that we purchase from Microsoft.

Anyone can assist on this issuse?

eeeeerrrr

    Hi @Evan ,

It seems this is not a common issue per my test. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, Please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.Are you using M365 Office? If yes, I suggest you consult your administrator, in the M365 Admin center, check if you have an Office 365 license? If not, you need the administrator to grant you this license before you can use the excel in app function .

2.If you are using other versions of office, it is recommended that you consult your company's IT whether to purchase a license for you.

Hope the information can help you. And if there have any unclear or misunderstanding, please feel free to post back and we’ll continue to help you all the time!

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated! Hope you have a good day and keep safe!

    Hi,

Clear the cache and cookies related to the SharePoint Online site in your browser's settings. then close it and start it again.

If this doesn't work then try using another browser to log in.
