Extend Screens in Azure

I recently had an outage with Azure. I have had this for about 6 months now and love the system. I was always able to extend my screen as I work on multiple docs at the same time to pull information from to input. Now it is "grayed" out and in "red" under display setting it indicates " This deplay settings can't be changed from a remote session". Please someone let me know how I can get this back. Thanks. I need to be able to move me docs to 2 screens that I work from.

    Hello

To extend your screen in an Azure remote session, you can follow these steps:

Open the Remote Desktop client (mstsc.exe).

Click on the “Show Options” button.

    Navigate to the “Display” tab.

Check the box that says "Use all my monitors for the remote session".

Alternatively, you can use the “/multimon” switch on the mstsc.exe command line.

You can also add “Use Multimon:i:1” to the RDP file.

If you’re using the Remote Desktop app from the Microsoft Store and having issues with multiple monitors, you might want to try using the Windows 64-bit version of the Remote Desktop client instead.

Please note that these settings might not apply if you’re already in a remote session. You may need to disconnect and reconnect for the changes to take effect.
