We have configured a azure file backup in commvault with storage account using the access key function. The issue Is configuration is successful from commvault and we are able to see the folders for azure SA on file share option but under that folder we are unable to see the files the protocol configuration from azure storage account is NFS.

    @suresh Reddy

    I believe this might be a compatibility issue with Commvault and its ability to backup NFS file share. There is some confusing and conflicting information in their documentation.

    "Data You Cannot Back Up

    • Files and folders without a name.
    • Files and folders that contain a forward slash ("/") in their names.
    • NFS file shares in an Azure premium storage account because NFS file shares do not support REST APIs.

    To back up NFS file shares in an Azure premium storage account, see Azure Files."

    I request you reach out to Commvault about this, as the statements appear to be contradictory.

    Thank you for sharing the details,

    I was checking with commvault still, I also checking with commvault community site one of the engineers is asking below details to verify from Azure cloud shell for curl error 56 is it possible to check from your side,

     I also see the GET requests in cloudactivity.log is failing:

    4596  1978  06/28 10:33:06 ##### [cvd] Curl Error: 56GET https://fileshare/user?comp=list&restype=directory

    From the Azure cloud shell, are we able to run the same API that we can see in cloudactivity.log?

    Documents for reference:

    Could you please on this piece? or Guide me on this ?
