Cannot Copy, Paste Special, Image on New Outlook on Office 365

I cannot copy, paste special, image (excel worksheet) into the body of an e-mail on the New Outlook.

Is this a restriction on the New Outlook?

Same here. Lots of bugs to work out. I posted about it but also if you paste anything from excel it always shows gridlines no matter your settings

I was able to paste as a picture from Excel to the new Outlook by using the "Copy as Picture" on the Home ribbon menu in Excel. Choose the format as Bitmap on the ensuing popup. Then you can paste into the body of an email in Outlook.

You can rid yourself of the gridlines either by unchecking gridlines from the View ribbon menu prior to copying or by selecting "As shown when printed" on the aforementioned popup.

@Andrew Dyk I was referencing another issue which was about pasting a table - sorry wasn't clear with my comment. When you paste a table (i.e. not as an image) it shows gridlines no matter what

I have exactly the same issue that Richard is referring to, i.e. not being able to hide gridlines when pasting tables from excel into the new version of outlook (ruling out pasting it as image). Please let me know if any of you finds a workaround for this issue.

I have the same problem. This thread is a year-and-a-half old. Two answers have been deleted. What is wrong with MSFT?! Why can we not paste images into New Outlook? When I paste an image, it just displays a box with an icon. No image. No, my email is NOT set to plain text. It is HTML. So what's the malfunction?

Even the instructions on the MSFT say you must BROWSE for a file in order to insert an image into your email. I know this works. This is incredibly slow and tedious. I don't need to save the image... it is a simple screenshot. I just want to paste it into the email and send it... I don't need to save it to my HDD. Come on. This is standard functionality that existed before.

It was working fine before and then one day it cannot paste the picture anymore. I started opening the outlook in safe mode by typing run on search box, type outlook.exe /safe, opened a new email and copy paste the photo, a message box will appear as Microsoft Outlook Compatibility Checker. I press the button Switch to HTML and then there it is pasted on the email. The only thing i have to always open my Outlook in safe mode and type again the email address to do this. Can anyone have a better solution?
