Can't create new Storage Resource in Sandbox.

I'm at "Describe features and tools in Azure for governance and compliance", unit 5 of 8, Task 1 Create a resource. At Step 4 "Under Storage Account, select Create", I am unable to Create because my Learn Sandbox now has a "No subscriptions. You do not have any Azure subscriptions in the Microsoft Learn Sandbox directory. Click here to switch to another directory" notification. I'm unable to complete the exercise in the Sandbox and am given the option to subscribe to Azure and get $200 credit. To which I have done.

As I am trying to learn, I'm not confident I won't stuff something (e.g. not delete something) and may incur fees. So, I'd like the Sandbox back, so I can learn in a safe bill-less environment. I can't seem to get out of the loop (other than going to my own subscription) in order to complete the exercise.

I've been running though the course all day and haven't had a hick-up until now. Used Sandbox earlier in the day too.

    Hi Oscar,

The exercise you are referring to requires you to use your own subscription. It is not intended for you to use the sandbox, which is why there is no "Activate sandbox" button. Without an activated sandbox, you will not see "Concierge Subscription" show up in the portal.

Some exercises will allow/provide a sandbox for you, while others will not. Easy way to know if you can use a sandbox is if there is a Activate sandbox button, or, if a sandbox is already active, it will say Sandbox activated! Time remaining:. Please note that sandboxes expire after a certain amount of time. If you pause during a module for some reason and then come back, your sandbox may have disappeared/expired. To solve this you need to activate a new sandbox.

Please click Accept Answer if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.
