HI, I started getting below issue when viewing database property in SQL Management studio. I tried purging the backups, it will work for a while, then will get the same issue after a few minutes. Database is working fine..

Hi.. I ran below command. it works, but the error keeps coming back after a few minutes.

EXEC msdb..sp_delete_database_backuphistory @database_name = '<database_name>'

According to the blog and documentation, it is suggested to remove older records as a possible solution to mitigate this issue. I hope you are taking steps to remove the older records.

EXEC msdb..sp_delete_backuphistory @oldest_date = '<mm/dd/yyyy>'

sp_delete_backuphistory (Transact-SQL) - SQL Server | Microsoft Learn

Please note, Removing the entries from backupset would only remove the information related to automated backups and will not impact actual backups available to restore
