The unexpected disk is write protected is unfortunately often a failure message.

The flash drive can be tested for confirmation.

Sometimes when a SD card or USB flash drive gives a This drive is write protected error, the device may have failed. The write protected error is an attempt to protect from data loss, so you can copy the contents from the device to another storage location. In this situation, nothing can be done for the device. It's dead.

If you have tried all the possible fixes but failed to get it corrected, then it is likely your removable disk is broken or gets bad sector.

Have you attempted to connect this USB drive on a different operating system or another computer?

How about using CMD format X: to format this disk?

As you tried all possible options and nothing worked, the USB drive may be malfunctioned.

If you had important data on this USB, you might need to take help of data recovery professional/service to recover the data.
