Printer install issues windows 10 and 11

Question

I have several printers of different brands installed and shared on Windows 10 PCs on a peer to peer network. Able to install printers on all Win 10 PCs without issue.  No matter which route I take to install on a windows 11 PC the only error I get says printer cannot be found, there is no error code associated with this.  Browsing the network shows the printers. Any suggestions?

Start by running the automated printer troubleshooter in the Get Help app. Get Help automatically runs diagnostics and takes the correct steps to resolve most printer problems.
