Looking to remove SCCM as MDM Authority from Intune

Question

I have removed the SCCM server in my lab and want to move my endpoints to an Azure AD Joined / Full Intune setup.

For the life of me, have not been able to find where I can change the MDM authority, and most of the articles online involving SCCM itself don't lead to an actual solution.

How do I reset the MDM authority in Intune so I can start from scratch? I have no data I care about to migrate.

Currently, there is no method to modify MDM Authority in intune portal.

Based on my research, I find that someone change MDM Authority via PowerShell scripts. Please refer to the following link:

Honestly, I haven't experienced it and not sure if it is a recommended approach. So, it is still suggested to try to create an online support ticket to find a method from the backend. Here is the support link:
