Hello everyone!

Migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016.

Currently, Exchange 2010 is the Mailbox, Hub Transport, and Client Access server. Exchange 2016 is just a mailbox server.

I want to check the mail flow between the 2 exchange servers and currently it is working from 2010 to 2016 but not working from 2016 to 2010.

    Hi @Ambroise Desrosiers ,

As Alex mentioned, have you received any NDRs or checked the tracking log? You can also try to use EX2016 to send to EX2016 or an external mailbox to see what happens.

Also, I seem to have found a case like yours that mentioned you need to update the DNS settings in the NIC on Exchange 2016 and add the new Exchange 2016 FQDN to the source IP of the outbound MTA.

    Check this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/384225/exchange-2016-unable-to-send-emails-with-exchange

    Regards
