azure api management - from dev portal, I made a custom widget as a test. but i want to delete test custom widget i create. how do i delete it There is only documentation on creating a custom widget, but no documentation on deleting it.

Meanwhile, you can create a support ticket with azure support team to manually delete the widget. If you don't have a support plan, let me know and I will assist you with this issue. Hi MuthuKumaranMurugaachari-MSFT,

I came across this discussion, and we are having related problems in our attempts to customize the developer portal at our company (managed deployment).

We were experimenting with custom widgets, both the provided HTML one, and a custom JS one (which we had problems deploying, due to security restrictions on our side).

The editing experience for the HTML one was a pretty flaky, after placing it on the page, I was able to get the dialog to display only once to attempt editing it; the current state is that the edit dialog never appears again, despite trying many times clicking around the whole area the widget consumes on the UI, so we are unable now to edit or remove that widget from the UI.

How can we remove it? We are on version 'Platform version stv2.1' of APIM.

For the custom widget, we were testing development of a very simple React based widget, initiated by following the add dialog in the portal designer, and doing some basic development in a local environment. As noted earlier, we had problems deploying that using 'npm run deploy' (due to some security restrictions on our side). The current state is that in the developer portal designer I see a placeholder for what I think was an attempt to place this 'test' custom widget, rendered with 'Custom widget hasn't loaded correctly' - this seemingly cannot be removed (the dialog to edit/remove does not appear w/ multiple clicking around, similar to the HTML widget mentioned above.

(if i visit the Customs Widgets menu item in the left hand side menu of the designer, no widgets are displayed - I see the message 'It seems that you don't have custom widgets yet.')

How can we remove this widget that doesn't render?
