Windows Subsystem for Linux Locks Up When Looking For Windows Files

Question

Hello Folks:

Sorry about the nonsense tag, I had to enter something and "Linux" and "Windows Subsystem for Linux" weren't available.

I'm trying to look at window files.

D:/ has been found at /mnt/d, E: at /mnt/e and so on.

When I try to look into that directory the terminal locks.

I have to close the terminal. I've found no other alternative.

Suggestions?
