Making custom model on Azure OpenAI Studio is shown as grey

Could you tell me reason why I cannot click making custom model on Azure OpenAI Studio

Acutually, I've done to subscribe on https://customervoice.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=xxx to use azure openAI service. Also I could see that 3.5 turbo model can deploy.

I understand that you have requested an Access to Azure OpenAI Service. Thanks for your interest on Azure Open AI.

Even though you can see the models listed, create a custom model is disabled due to which you haven't been granted a Cognitive Services OpenAI Contributor" role assignment in resource level.

First check if you have the "Cognitive Services OpenAI Contributor" role is enabled or not. If not, follow the below steps.

To enable "Cognitive Services OpenAI Contributor" role, Goto Azure Open AI resource in Azure Portal -> Access control (IAM) -> Add role assignment --> Select "Cognitive Services OpenAI Contributor" role and assign.

Please see below for more clarity.

Once you have added the role assignment, you will be able to see this under View My access tab.

After adding the Role assignment, you will be able to create/deploy these models.
