Azure Batch autoscale PreemptedNodeCode variable when will be enabled?

The customer has been updating their autoscale formulas and wanted to take advantage of the PreemptedNodeCount variable. There is a good amount of documentation on the variable, as well as examples, but there's a warning on that page that states that it doesn't work. I haven't been able to find any reason as to why it's disabled, or any documentation stating that it will ever be fixed. Do you know if there are plans to make this variable work again, or why it was even disabled?

Hello Brent

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

I checked with internal team on this, and can confirm that this variable is no longer available.

Currently team is working towards making this available. This will be shipped soon again in a few months.

Hope that helps.
