show hide column not work in list in sharepoint

in sharepoint , in list when i click add column , and click show /hide column , and select assigned to column to show , and apply , it show only 1s , and disappear suddenly , it seems not working , and i tried edit view , select assigned to , it works .

so the function i marked below seems not work ,am i right ?

    Hi Xiaodong Guan, UPM,

    I tested locally and didn't have any issues, this may be an accidental situation.

    At currently, there are only two ways to modify it. Show or hide columns or Edit current view.

    For this case, I would recommend trying the show or hide feature in a new list to see if it still persists.

    If that's the case, I recommend modifying it with the Edit current view option.
