One of our customers, an NFP, is unable to make use of the cost management features in Azure. They have no idea which of their resources are costing them the most etc. Are there any plans to give NFP's the same features as everyone else? It just says "cost management requires a supported billing account or subscription".

It turns out that the Microsoft Azure Sponsorship offer does not yet support Cost Management data and you will need to change offers to one of the listed offers in order to obtain access to Cost Management data. Please refer to the following document here for a list of the current supported and unsupported offer types that support Cost Management. Hey, that link just says "this account does not have an active Azure Sponsorship".

Does this mean there is no hope for NFP's using Azure? This particular client hasn't been able to review their Azure costs for nearly 2 years. If it hasn't been fixed by now, does this mean MS want all NFP's to go AWS?

This is the position our client is in and they are asking us if AWS make it easier for NFP's. :(

If your client is the original user who registered the Azure sponsorship offer code, go to https://www.microsoftazuresponsorships.com/ and log in with your credentials to see how much of your subscription has been used and how much credit you have left.

If your subscription fails to activate which means inactive state or shows 0 subscriptions, contact the Azure Support for a better resolution.

I administer 2 nonprofit accts with separate ID's. I have tried both links in the thread to view costs and Usage. and both come back with the same screen showing "this account does not have an active sponsorship". Can you please help out here..
