How to create a search function for a modern list view webpart

Hi,

Ive created a modern sharepoint site with a list view webpart and I really need to be able to provide users with a search function. This was possible with the classic sharepoint but I can’t seem to get working on a modern site. If anyone could help that would be great! Ps I’m not looking to use the search banner at the top

Based on your description, I understand that you want to do modern search but not use OOTB search box in the modern pages.

You could deploy PnP Modern Search v4 SPFx web part to do modern search.
