Up on turning on my pc this morning my entire browsing history as well as all my pinned and grouped tabs were closed, nowhere to be found. It also deletes everything again when I close the browser, I tried multiple times.
Based on these two detailed descriptions, please check the settings in Edge:
Navigate to edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose
and check if turn on the option Browsing history. If this is the case, then it's reasonable what you're in, as described in this setting, any of the options below is to choose what to clear every time you close the Microsoft Edge. And because the browsing data has been deleted, there is no way to restore the pages you visited before.
If you didn't enable this option, you should be able to find them in your browsing history and restore them. Just use the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+T
