I used to teach VB and always did Windows Forms Applications. Later we switched to C#. I now tutor C# and C++. I have a student who will be in a VB class and is asking for me to tutor him. I wanted to re-familiarize myself with with VB, but when I say I want to do a Windows forms application it only gives me the C# option. I have downloaded all the modules for VS and still don't get an option for a VB Windows Forms App.

Hi @Ron DelPorto , welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

If you're sure your Visual Studio includes .NET Desktop Development component, then check to filter Visual Basic language for results when creating the project.

    VB

Otherwise, you can consider repairing your Visual Studio, or reinstalling it.

    Best Regards.
