So this is not my area of expertise, so I cannot help with the matter as such. However, I like to point out a problem with your question: you don't include the error message. I think this is needed if you want people to help you.

First, how do you upgrade your windows 10 from 1607 to 22h2? Are you using SCCM?

Hello, If Your Windows is Preventing you from updating to 22H2 Version,
Step 1:- Use Windows 10 Updater assistant
Step 2:- Backup All Data and Reinstall Windows 10 22H2
Step 3:- Download the Windows 10 ISO From Windows 10 Website, Then Navigate to E:\sources\setup.exe (You can search in windows ISO opener in explorer.exe and then install windows on current drive and then after installation, You can navigate towards C:\Windows.old and click users folder in Windows.old and then you can take/drag n' drop your old data in desktop and enjoy!.
