Based on my research, seems like Microsoft Places has not yet released, so I am afraid there are no guidelines or articles available at this time. Below are some relevant discussions for reference:

With the above being said, if what you are after is just to display the geolocation of a meeting room, you can check the following articles and try using the Set-Place cmdlet to update the location metadata for a room mailbox:
