Hi, I am planning to implement maintenance plan on 5 Azure SQL DB. So can i use same or share existing rubook for all DB's? if not i will create separate runbook for all 5 Azure SQL DB's.

This looking good anurag.

But i am looking for the maintenance plan run in different schedules.
Like,

DB1 on Every Monday @ 10 PM
DB2 on Every Tuesday @ 10 PM
DB3 on Every Wednesday @ 10 PM
DB4 on Every Thursday @ 10 PM

Hi @Vijay Kumar , thanks for reverting back.

If you are looking for different schedule for different databases, suggested approach would be creating separate runbooks and scheduling them as per the requirements of the databases. This would also help in case you want to remove any database from the schedule, you could just unplug that runbook with no effects on others. Also if somethings goes wrong with one, there is no impact on others.

Using Runbook or Elastic Jobs--> which option is cost ($$$) effective? i mean less cost.

Hi @Vijay Kumar , for automation account runbooks, pricing is very straight forward (based on job run time) as mentioned in the link:

However for azure elastic jobs, pricing is a little different as it has elastic job agent as well as a job database. Elastic job agent is free but job database is build based on size and usage like normal database.(Refer link for more details)
