List only custom applications

Hi All!

In my tenant's app registrations page I saw there are applications that were not added by one of our users. Searching a bit, I found these are automatically added applications.

Examples for such applications:

• aad-extensions-app. Do not modify. Used by AAD for storing user data.
• SharePoint Online Client Extensibility Web Application Principal
• SharePoint Online Client Extensibility Web Application Principal Helper

I want to list our tenant's applications. Currently I'm using this call: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/application-list?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http

The problem is that it returns also these 'automatically-added' applications, that are used by Microsoft internally.

My question: Is there a way to filter these apps or at least identify them somehow from the returned result?

Sorry for the late reply.

I've been looking for ways to filter "auto-added apps" and "user-created apps" for the past 2 days, but no luck.

I suggest you open a support ticket with the Microsoft support team on this for better assistance.
