Custom Domain in Azure with web hosting elsewhere

Is it possible to set up a custom domain in Azure AD in order to host Email services (from exchange presumably), while retaining web hosting from a 3rd party hosting service? The 3rd party host has been set up and running for years, but that provider does not provide e-mail services. To put another way, if I have web hosting for "myawesomecompany.com" at GoDaddy, for example, can I use the same domain name (myawesomecompany.com) for a custom domain name in Azure in order to set up email services in Azure for that domain?

    Yes. It is possible to use email service in Microsoft 365 for your domain when having your company website hosted by other service providers.
