As I understand, you are getting error when trying to add a new account in Azure Data Studio.
Could you please let us know the ADS version and if you could please update it to the latest and try again?

Could you please let us know which Database you are trying to connect in ADS?
What is the ADS version?
Please share Explorer page screenshot to see if the connection is successfully established?
