IP or Location Information from Authenticator App

Hello all,

I understand that Microsoft does not store or save the location information given by the app. I was wondering whether the server (to which the Authenticator's second factor authentication is needed to access) could receive the authenticators app's device IP address or location.

    The IP and location of the authentication will be in the Azure Sign in logs.
