We have a few employees still working within our old legacy Navision 2013 r2 system. We created a new temporary user account and they somehow removed the print print menu option from the Actions menu section on a work order. We've tried reseting the ribbon to defaults and adding the print section back but will not come back. We can log into the computer with another user account and the print option shows up fine. Is there another way to reset the user preferences or settings? We do not have a developer for this sytem anymore so we are limited in knowing some of its capabilities. Help is appreciated!

    Hello there,

If you are experiencing print issues in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2, there could be several potential reasons for the problem. Below are some common troubleshooting steps to address printing problems in NAV 2013 R2:

Check Printer Configuration: Ensure that the printer you are trying to use is properly configured and set as the default printer on the machine from which you are printing.

Test Printing from Other Applications: Verify if the printer works correctly with other applications outside of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This helps to determine if the issue is specific to NAV or a general printer problem.

Check Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed for the printer you are using. Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause printing problems.

Printer Permissions: Confirm that the user attempting to print from NAV has the necessary permissions to access and use the printer. Check both Windows user permissions and NAV user permissions.

Page Setup and Report Selection: In NAV, make sure the appropriate report is selected for printing and that the page setup (margins, paper size, etc.) is correctly configured for the printer.

Print to PDF: Try printing the report to a PDF file to see if the issue persists. If the PDF output is correct, the problem may lie with the printer or its settings.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
