Hello
Windows 11 typically installs drivers for portable devices automatically. However, if you’re having trouble with a specific device, you can try manually installing the driver. You can do this through the Settings app or Device Manager on Windows 11 .
To install a driver manually through the Settings app on Windows 11, open Settings and click on Windows Update. Then click the Advanced options page on the right side, and under the “Additional options” section, click the Optional updates setting. Click the Driver updates setting, check the driver to install on Windows 11, and then click the Download & install option .
If you prefer to use Device Manager to install a driver manually, you must first download the package from the manufacturer’s support website and then use Device Manager to apply the update . You can find a list of manufacturers’ support pages in this article .
As for your question about attaching your iPhone to download from iTunes, you should be able to connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable and then open iTunes to sync your content.
I couldn’t find any information about whether Microsoft will include a portable device driver in an update in the near future.
