Can't choose directory where all the resources exists

Hi,

We are trying to create custom model using Form Recognizer studio. but when we log in we don't see directory where our resources exists under.

Azure AD setup

We initially created azure account using hotmail.com email and domain is being set as "user"hotmail.onmicrosfot.com but our log in email domain is parachutsoftware.com. When we log in to Form Recognizer studio we don't see directory.

Can you please provide solution/workaround.

Invite User to the Directory: Make sure that the user with the "parachutsoftware.com" domain is invited to the Azure AD directory where the Form Recognizer resources exist. If the user is not added to the directory, they won't be able to see the resources.

Azure AD Domain Verification: Ensure that the "parachutsoftware.com" domain is verified and added to the Azure AD directory where the Form Recognizer resources are located. To verify the domain, follow the steps below:

Sign in to the Azure portal with your "user@hotmail.onmicrosoft.com" account.

Go to Azure Active Directory > Custom domain names.

Verify and add the "parachutsoftware.com" domain if it is not already added.

Azure Role Assignment: Ensure that the user with the "parachutsoftware.com" domain is assigned the necessary roles in the Azure portal to access the Form Recognizer resources. They might need permissions like "Owner," "Contributor," or "Reader" on the Form Recognizer resource.

Consolidate Azure AD Tenants: If you have multiple Azure AD tenants (due to different domains), consider consolidating them into a single tenant. This way, all your resources will be under one directory, and you won't face issues with domain mismatch.

Check Form Recognizer Subscription: Ensure that your Form Recognizer service is in the same Azure subscription as your resources. If it is in a different subscription, you may not see the resources.

Remember that the Form Recognizer studio relies on proper Azure AD authentication and permissions to access and manage resources. By verifying domains, inviting users, and assigning appropriate roles, you should be able to access your Form Recognizer resources successfully.

We have tried this but we couldn't able to verify "prachutesoftware.com" domain. Seems like it is being connected to powerBI. Is there any way to make it verified without deleting it?

Hello Bosohi,

If you are unable to verify the "parachutsoftware.com" domain in Azure AD because it is already connected to Power BI, you may need to remove the domain from Power BI before you can verify it in Azure AD.
