Firstly, try to reset the Azure VM password and get access to VM. You can reset the password as below:
To reset your Azure VM Password, from azure portal you can once you select Azure VM go to reset password under the Help in the left hand side menu options.
Update the password and click on update button.
To access the wp-content folder on your WordPress site hosted on an Azure virtual machine, you will need to use an FTP client like FileZilla. Here are the steps to follow:
- Open FileZilla and go to File > Site Manager.
- Click on the "New Site" button and enter the following details:
- Host: Enter the public IP address of your Azure virtual machine.
- Protocol: Select "SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol".
- Logon Type: Select "Ask for password".
- User: Enter the username of your Azure virtual machine.
Port: Enter "22".
3.Click on the "Connect" button and FileZilla will prompt you for the password. Enter the password for your Azure virtual machine.
4.Once you are connected, you should see the file directory of your Azure virtual machine on the right-hand side of the FileZilla window.
5.Navigate to the wp-content folder by double-clicking on the "var" folder, then the "www" folder, then the "html" folder, and finally the "wp-content" folder.
6.You can now download or upload files to the wp-content folder as needed.
