how to create vnet and configure vnet peering back to the main site with the domain controller .

Hi,

I would like to know how to create vnet and configure vnet peering back to the main site with the domain controller . and how to make sure that the new vNet has line of sight to a domain controller for domain join, and update the DNS settings on the new vNet.

Please response as soon as possible.

I understand that you would like to Peer two VNets.

Wrt "configure vnet peering back to the main site with the domain controller"

I am not sure what do you mean by "with the domain controller"

Please note that in Azure VNet Peering, Domain Controllers have no impact.

You can just peer the two VNets by following : Connect virtual networks with virtual network peering

Doing this will ensure that resources in secondary VNet have a line of sight to the Domain controller VM in primary VNet

If you want the secondary VNet to use the Domain Controller in primary VNet, you can just update the DNS server of the secondary VNet to the IP address of the Domain controller.

Refer : Update DNS SERVER of a VNet

In case you are using AD DS,

Refer : Configure virtual network peering for ADDS

I am not getting your point. Actually i am new one it and I have no proper Idea for this, as I want to connect different geographical region with same on-prem and for this I use S2S. so I just want to know from the scratch like how can I do this and what's the right way. It will be helpful for me, if you help me to figure out this.

Once you connect your OnPrem to Azure using S2S, the connectivity is established.

Same goes for VNet Peering.

According to your question, "how to make sure that the new vNet has line of sight to a domain controller for domain join, and update the DNS settings on the new vNet."

If your Domain Controller is in Azure and you want this DC to provide DNS for you, you can follow Update DNS SERVER of a VNet

May I ask what your end Goal is?

Is it to connect different OnPrem sites to Azure using S2S?

or Something different?

Hi, You can build site to site across multiple vnets connecting to On-premises or you can have a hub vnet which connects to On-premises and spoke vnets can be vnet peered with hub. You can deploy your DNS server in the Hub which will have direct line of site with On-premises.
