Hi,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
In order to regain access to your device, you will need to enter the BitLocker recovery key, which is automatically generated and saved when BitLocker is enabled on a device. If you do not have the key, you can try the following solutions:
- Check if your BitLocker key is saved under the computer object on your joined domain (assuming your device is joined to a domain).
- If you joined your Surface Pro to Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), your BitLocker key will be saved under the account that was used to join the device.
- If you are using a local admin account to manage the device, you can save the BitLocker key by going to the Settings app and navigating to Update & Security > Recovery. Insert a USB drive and select the option to save the BitLocker key. The key will be saved to a text file on the USB drive.
If you are still unable to find the BitLocker key, you will need to reset your device, but you may lose some or all of your data in the process. Before resetting, you can try to recover your data.

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Simon
