Call Group Configuration

Hi Guys

I am currently using Teams Call Groups and have encountered some problems. I have the following questions about creating call groups:

  • How do I set the ring time within the call group? Both in Teams and in the Admin Centre there is only talk about the ring time for the source person, but not within the call group. This is referred to as the "simultaneous ringing" setting.
  • Is it possible to configure the pickup group so that I, as the person transferring the call, can still see the call and pick it up for its entire duration?

I am aware that all settings can be achieved via AutoAttendants and CallQueues. However, these have other limitations and we are not able to use them in our situation.

Thank you for your feedback and best regards,
Fabian

    Hi @
    Fabian_Haering

    a. The ring time in a calling group is controlled by the ring time set by members of the calling group themselves.

If you want members of a call group to ring for the same amount of time, make sure they each have the same ring time configured for themselves.

    b. Do you want to still be able to access the call after the call is transferred?

In the new update of Teams: With the new call delegation UI changes, delegators will be able to view and join active calls handled by a delegate. This update will arrive on July 31st.
