Why Enterprise application was created automatically after app registration in Azure AD

Hi All,

Can anyone help me to understand this.

I was performing a lab from one of the MS 204 learn module where I created an app registration and once that happened there was an automatic creation of an Enterprise application with same name.

May I know why does this happens and how these two are different.

Hello Ashish,

Please see the explanation below of why this is happening:

The Service Principal Object is what you see under the Enterprise Registration blade in AAD. Every Application Object (created through the Azure Portal or using the Microsoft Graph APIs, or AzureAD PS Module) would create a corresponding Service Principal Object in the Enterprise Registration blade of AAD.
